PVC Pipe

CHARACTERISTICS

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a chemical combination of carbon, hydrogen and chlorine. It comes from crude oil (43%) and salt (57%). It is by far the plastic with the least dependence on petroleum. Its main property: a material that is NOT electrically and thermally conductive, i.e. a natural insulator.

PVC pipes have a life expectancy of more than 100 years as they are practically immune to corrosion and do not oxidize or react chemically with the liquids they transport.
