PVC Shutter
CHARACTERISTICS
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a chemical combination of carbon, hydrogen and chlorine. It comes from crude oil (43%) and salt (57%). It is by far the plastic with the least dependence on petroleum. Its main property: a material that is NOT electrically and thermally conductive, i.e. a natural insulator.
With proper maintenance, PVC blinds can last for many years without noticeable wear and tear, with a service life of between 30 and 50 years.
